Face Value?

What is the value of a ticket? There are more factors than just the number printed on the face of the ticket. And what are you going to pay when you purchase that ticket?

Face Value: This is the price printed on the front of the ticket. Think of it as a guide to the value of ticket, not a "price tag".

Season Seat Holder Cost: Season seat holders get the tickets for much less than face value. Usually about 40% less. Of course you have to commit to a whole season.

Mini Pack Cost: If you buy a Mini Pack from the Raptors, you will get about 25% off the face value. You have to commit to 10+ games.

Box Office Price: Here's the stinger. Most people think the face value is what you pay at the box office. In fact, you pay FACE VALUE plus $7 "Ticket Handling" fees PLUS taxes!! A $43 ticket cost $55 at the box office!....PLUS $2.50 more if you want them emailed!!

Online Reseller: Raptorman.ca is an online reseller. Make sure you read the "fine print" with online resellers. Many charge an extra $10 for "handling" charges and up to $15 for shipping the tickets. At Raptorman.ca , you dont pay a cent more to have your tickets emailed to you. And only $5 to have them mailed to you. And NEVER any service charges!!

Roadside Scalpers: You see them when you go to the games. If you are in a negotiating mood, you can approach them. Their prices are what ever they can get.
