What is "Face Value" and why does it change?

What is "Face Value" and why does it change?

In the last couple of years, MLSE has introduced "Flex Pricing". This allows them to change the prices of tickets as games get more popular or less popular.

The "face value" on the tickets represent the original anticipated value of a game that was established months before the season started. It is not the "value" of the ticket.

This season, the Raptors are doing much better than anticipated. And prices are going up.

To establish value of a ticket, you can compare two or more different sources.

Ticket Master - http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Toronto-Raptors-tickets/artist/806034?tm_link=tm_browse_rc_image1

Note that Ticket Master adds a $7.50 charge PER TICKET .

SubHub - https://www.stubhub.com/toronto-raptors-tickets/

Note that Stubhub is in US dollars.  Do the math before you compare.

StubHub does not charge a fee for the tickets purchased.  But you can buy single tickets from them at lower than average prices. You want to compare the price for a pair of tickets.

The sellers at Raptorman want to sell our season seats at a price that is fair for you and ourselves. We check these sources ourselves and make sure we are the lowest around. You should too.

Please email or call if you have any questions.
